a call to all

The call presented here is both real and literal, offered to all of God's people through a book, written at the direction of inspiration given to a man named James Niel Skousen. The book is titled: "Peace - All Flesh Is Grass". This site serves as an introduction to the work, offering context and answering questions, as well as a place to download the book for all who seek to know its contents.

“The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned."

- Isaiah 50:4

What I will not do is remain silent out of fear that I might be wrong about a date. The watchman who sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet—his silence does not protect him. It condemns him (Ezekiel 33:6). I would rather speak and be corrected by the LORD than be silent and have blood upon my hands.

To the reader

To my Jewish readers:

I am aware that the claim of inspired instruction is not made lightly in your tradition—that prophecy ceased with Malachi and that such claims demand the highest scrutiny. I do not claim the office of prophet; I claim only to have received revelation concerning the things written in this book. The Tanakh makes up a large part of the foundation upon which this work is built. Test what is written here against those scriptures.--

To my Latter-Day Saint readers:

You hold the Restoration as evidence that prophecy has returned to the earth. Test this work against the scriptures you already possess—the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants—and seek confirmation by the Spirit, as you have been taught.--

F.A.Q.

An attempt to answer some "likely" pre-reading questions

This is the FAQ section. These answers are filled out by James,
and will continue to be added to as readers submit inquiry.
Q: Who is this written for?
A: While "PEACE – All Flesh Is Grass" is written for everyone, the primary audiences are the Jewish people and the Latter-day Saints. The work speaks directly to themes of covenant, gathering, and prophetic fulfillment central to both communities.
Q: How do I read this manuscript?
A: First, always keep the newest download. The manuscript is a living document that undergoes ongoing editing and refinement—updates may occur every few days. Before reading, make sure you have the most current PDF version uploaded. Second, detailed instructions for how to approach and read the document are provided in the opening section of the book itself.
Q: Is James claiming to be a prophet?
A: No. James does not claim to be a prophet. He claims to have received the commandment to write this book through inspiration and the Spirit. James identifies as a latter-day watchman—one tasked with warning the people to return to the covenants of God in preparation for the time to come.
